Mad TV Viewers...

Okay, this is a pretty out there question, but I've searched the net and cannot find this, and wondered if any of you ever watch Mad TV, and if so, if you remember the 'fake' commercial they did parodying all of the Viagra, Cialis, type drug commericals, and their faux product was called "Metaphora" or something like that, it had the word Metaphor in it, but sounded like an experimental 'new' medicine. It was perhaps one of the funniest sketches I've ever seen them do, and I wanted to see it again, but can't find it. Anyone out there ever seen it? Remember it? Perhaps know where I could find it?

Not sure if this will help but the wikipedia offers a description of episode 806: "Employees are curious to a "growth spurt" of one of their employees (Frank Caliendo) in a commercial parody for Viagra". Maybe that will help you google around.

Thanks for the guidance there, I found what I was looking for! Its from May 2004, episode #924, and here is the description, now if I can only find the video out there on the net somewhere!

"Parody of UPS commercials uses disgusting euphemisms with the word "brown". Mofaz (Michael McDonald) takes his unattractive daughter (Ike Barinholtz) to her prom. Tom Bergeron hosts a couples episode of Hollywood Squares, with Andra Stasko (Michael McDonald) and James Getzlaff (Josh Meyers) as the contestants. A man (Josh Meyers) tries to escape from his dog-loving wife (Mo Collins) by committing suicide. Dominic Sandy (Michael McDonald) catches insults from customers while working at a fast-food restaurant. A man (Keegan-Michael Key) who's been shot in the head tries to make a doctor's appointment, but the secretary (Daniele Gaither) won't tolerate his anguished wailing. A promo for a sexual enhancement drug is advertised in metaphors. The Kappa Kappa Kappa sorority girls make over an ugly co-ed (Paul Vogt). A reporter (Ron Pederson) lands in hot water while interviewing a man (Aries Spears) about the death of his brother."

Its probably the funniest thing I've seen them do before.

Several years ago, Mad TV did a fantastic parody of The Lord of the Rings movie. So that must have been about 2001 or 2002. It was simply hilarious.

I've always found this commercial they did the funiest I've ever seen because it looks just like the ad for the antidepressant.......
