He had at least one incompletion -- after hitting his first 13 or so.

Manning was also helped by two defensive touchdowns ... of course, the Bolts got a defensive score in the first half (and had two more short drives -- for a TD and a FG -- set up by fumbled kicks).

The media is going all Peyton crazy, and he was fabulous, but the Denver D (with some help from Rivers) won this game. 6 turnovers in the 2nd half and 2 defensive TDs. That's sick.

I just hate the way offense always seems to get the lion's share of the credit -- especially when the D is the one that really set the tone for the game.

In the first half Denver muffed a punt, fumbled a kick off, and fell down in the clear running for a touchdown.

I was surprised that the Chargers could not score but not that Denver would have a great second half.

Hats off to Peyton for not mutilating any of his teammates during that first half. He looked about ready to when he hustled into the locked room at the end of the half.
