I don't understand the numbers, or the plus mark. Are they saying that UNC is nearly a 4 to 1 favorite, while UK is 4 to 1 against?
While I realize that gambling is illegal at Bushwood, it is not illegal in Vegas. Here are at least one site's odds to win the NCAA championship this year:
UNC. +3.70
Kentucky. 4.15
Ohio st. 7.25
Duke. 11
Louisville. 11
Syracuse. 12
Baylor. 15
UConn. 16
Fla. 16
UCLA. 21
Vandy. 21
Kansas. 26
St. John's. 26
Texas. 26
Pitt. 26
Memphis. 26
Mich. St. 32
As always, I feel it is my civic duty to "take one for the team". I plan to wager on UNC and Ky, thereby insuring that neither one will win it all.

Not a 4 to 1 favorite to win it all. No team is ever favored against the field to win it all before the tournament has started. UNC is about a 1 in 4 favorite (i.e. 25% chance to win it all). The plus mark should be for all the teams. UConn seems relatively low compared to its pre-season rankings.
