    2012 and 2013 predictions

    Hey guys its I just wanted to ask you all what your thoughts are on players in 2012 and 2013 basketball recruiting. Such as your predictions as to were they land and who the final two or three will be ill start it out.

    2012:
    Shabazz Muhammad-UCLA- UCLA,Duke,UNLV, and Kentucky will make his top 4
    Alex Poythress-Duke- Duke,Vanderbilt, and Kentucky.
    Tony Parker-Ohio State- Ohio State,Duke, and UCLA.
    Devonta Pollard-Alabama- Alabama, Duke, NC State, and Kentucky.
    Mitch McGary-Duke- Duke, Michigan, and UNC

    2013:
    Jabari Parker-Duke- Duke, Washington, and Kansas
    Julius Randle-Duke- Duke and UNC
    Nerlens Noel- UConn- Uconn, Kentucky, and Georgetown
    Nate Britt- UNC- UNC, Duke, Villanova and georgetown
    Matt Jones - Duke- Duke, Missouri, Baylor, and Oklahoma
    Brannen Greene- Duke- Duke, Florida State, Harvard and Kansas

    Feel free to add new prospects to your predictions these are my thoughts.
    If you can't see im expecting a small 2012 class but a huge 2013 class.

    You seem quite optimistic. I'll be pleased if we land half of each of your predicted classes.

    Landing 2 players, MM and AP, in 2012 doesn't seem too optimistic to me. Staying with just the 2012 class I'd agree with your second statement class as I'd be pleased if we landed one of the two, but doesn't seem unreasonable to me that we land 2 out of MM, AP, and Bazz. That said, not sure where we stand with AP these days...

    MM is the most important recruit in my mind so if we land just him along with Sheed, I'd be quite content.

    I would say it's pretty optimistic to land 3 of the 4 top-10 players that we've recruited in that class.

    I'd also be fairly surprised if we had 13 scholarship players on the team, which I believe would be the scenario if we landed two of Muhammad/McGary/Poythress unless one of Mason, Rivers, or Curry leaves early.

    I'd be more surprised by getting two of those three guys than I would be by getting none of the three.

    But I agree - it does seem like McGary would be the key. I'd love to have Muhammad, but getting another star caliber big man would be really nice.

    I'm reasonably certain Duke is not recruiting Pollard and Duke prefers Matt Jones to Brannen Greene.

    In fact, most pundits consider Jones to be a strong Duke lean. He and Greene might not be mutually exclusive in all circumstances but it's hard to see both ending up at Duke.

    Due to the fact that the original post in this thread globally addresses 2012 and 2013 recruiting, and we've already got lengthy threads dedicated to those topics, I will be closing this thread.

    Please use the search box in the upper right hand corner of the screen to find topics like, oh, I don't know... "2013 recruiting". Just because its not on the front page, doesn't mean its not already being discussed.
