    Other Duke Sports on TV

Football and Basketball will not be the only ACC sports to get some decent coverage on television thanks to the most recent broadcast deal. In the Fall season that means that Field Hockey, Men's and Women's Soccer, and Volleyball will be shown ESPN platforms as well as still to be announced regional cable channels. Soccer games can also be selected as the NSCAA game of the week on Fox Soccer, including tomorrow's men's game when Virginia visits Koskinen Stadium. Here is the Duke list by sport and date for reference. Postseason games will also be broadcast, but I will list the Duke-relevant ones as we get there. Here is the full ACC announcement if you want to see other teams:

    All times Eastern
RSN means cable sports channels that have yet to be announced. ESPN3.com is in the middle of rebranding to WatchESPN.

You would figure that if the ACC wanted people to watch their sports, they would provide timely television information, but that is not the case, so I looked a few places to piece together which channels will air Friday's volleyball game. Looks like it will be on Fox Sports South and CSN Mid-Atlantic live at 7pm ET and delayed at 11pm on Sun Sports.

The ACC appears to be getting the hang of posting channels. Women's Soccer will be hosting Virginia on Thursday at 8pm Eastern. Per the ACC and Duke Sports Information, the game will be broadcast on Fox Sports South, Comcast Sportsnet Mid-Atlantic, and Fox Sports Florida. According to listings that I have seen, the game will also be available in Southern California on Primeticket.

Men's Soccer will be the national game on Fox Soccer this week.

I am bringing this up to remind people of Friday's big soccer game as Duke tries to build up its conference resume as they travel to Maryland. ESPN3 at 7pm Eastern is where to be to watch.

It is a shame with all of the platforms available that tomorrow's titanic Women's Soccer match will not be widely available and will not be on television.

Bringing this up for the 2 big games this week.

Volleyball will of course have the rivalry, but it is also an important game for Duke to push up the league standings and solidify a spot in the NCAA tournament.

Women's soccer continues to jostle for position in the league before the conference tournament.

A reminder for the volleyball game Sunday on ESPN3, though the women's soccer game at the same time may be of larger impact. That game's online availability has yet to be announced.

Conference tournament coverage is in full swing now.

The Women's Soccer team will be playing in the first semi-final on Friday which will put them at 5:30 Eastern on ESPN3 against Wake Forest.

The Field Hockey team is the 3rd seed in the tournament after the final games took place this weekend. They earn an immediate rematch with Virginia at 3:30 Eastern Thursday to be shown on the ACC website. A win there would propel them to a televised game 3:30 on Friday, but those listings are not available yet.

The Field Hockey team got their revenge on Virginia today so they will be in the second semifinal tomorrow scheduled for approximately 3:30 Eastern against the second seed Maryland on their home field.

The game will be televised live on Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Florida, CSN Mid-Atlantic, NESN, and Primeticket.

Tomorrow the Field Hockey team will face off against UNC in the final at 1pm Eastern. The same five channels will show the game, Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Florida, CSN Mid-Atlantic, NESN, and Primeticket.

Tuesday, the Men's Soccer team will host 6th seed Clemson at 7pm Eastern.

There are two NCAA selection shows this week.

Women's Soccer will have one on Monday at 4:30 Eastern on ncaa.com.

Field Hockey will have its selection show on Tuesday at 8:00 Eastern.

As expected Duke is a 1 seed and will open Sunday at 2 Eastern against Radford. Games before the nationally televised ones are usually available on some outlet or another, but I will update when we find out for sure.

The Men's Soccer team advanced to the ACC semifinals after a thrilling penalty shootout against Clemson. That sets them up for a matchup with the 7 seed Boston College.

The game will be live on ESPN3 Friday. It is listed at 7:30pm Eastern but will probably be closer to 8:00pm because they will need to wait for the completion of the first semifinal between North Carolina and Virginia at 5:30pm so we may get some cutting into basketball.

The Field Hockey team has made its return to the NCAA tournament. The team has been placed in the 2nd seed Old Dominion's bracket and will face Stanford on Saturday at a currently unannounced time in Norfolk. The seeded team would probably like to avoid facing Duke considering that one of its two losses came at the hand of the Blue Devils. Here are the interactive and printable brackets:

The Field Hockey team defeated Stanford 5-0 today so they are set to face Old Dominion tomorrow at 2pm Eastern.

The Men's Soccer team will be waiting for their NCAA tournament destination on Monday at 4:30 Eastern. The selection show will air on ncaa.com

    Fall NCAA Tournament Action

Women's soccer won its first-round game over Radford, 5-0. They play Georgia Friday night at Koskinen in the second round.

Field hockey won its first-round game over Stanford, 5-0, but lost to top-ranked ODU in the quarterfinals, 2-1.

The men's soccer selection show comes up at 4:30 eastern, live on ncaa.com. Duke should be a lock.

Neither men's nor women's cross-country made it to the NCAA team championship. Maddy Morgan, who finished sixth at the regional meet, will compete as an individual.

The women's second round soccer game will have a live video feed on goduke.com--it looks like it will be free.

Congrats to women's field hockey on a fine season.

They play Georgia State on Thursday night at Koskinen.

If they win on Thursday, they hop on a plane for a second-round game at New Mexico on Sunday afternoon.

Three ACC schools are seeded. Wrong Shade of Blue is the overall top seed, BC is number four, and Murlund is number five. The ACC got a total of six bids, with Wake and UVa also getting in.
