The most absurd luxury item ever

I proudly introduce you to... the Kohler Numi. A $6000 toilet that is fully remote controlled. It features warming seats, an MP3 player, and a retracting/extending bidet that will splash water at different temperatures and in different splash patterns.

Also, here is a CNet video review of the Numi.

The MP3 player sells it for me. Because it's so gosh-darn difficult to transport music these days.

With four children under 8, the over/under on that toilet's survival time in my house is 90 minutes.

So many puns -- too close to football season to risk the month's suspension . . . .

Not to mention the double entendres .

I can really only think of one palindrome.

Jason, I just about burst my bladder laughing when I read your caption, but I'll take it! My birthday isn't until May, so how about as a Hanukkah present?
    Ozzie, your paradigm of optimism!

Ok, but only if you promise to never, ever, ever tell me your preferred bidet setting. There are some things no one should know about you

Hmmm, I think its an indication that I've spent far too long living in Asia that I don't see what's so special about it. Ok, its remote controlled and the mp3 player is built in... but... well... the rest is not that dissimilar to what I've dealt with in a number of different places(and I do mean dealt with, as there is the occassional "Oops, I thought that was the flush" mistake).

Urrrgghh, the imagination blanches. My goodness Deslok, you are freaking me out!

ETA: will Kohler offer those 20 minute hands on in house classes on how to work the darned thing like Verizon does for the Droid?

I'm feeling generous, too. I'll throw in the 2nd $1.

Shoot, Ozzie's got a job in sales. That may be his next/new product. Then we could all get DBR discounts!

I'm feeling flush with cash - I'll put in the third $1.

Of course, if Ozzie doesn't have the rest, the whole deal will go down the drain.

If we are not careful, all our plans could tank.

No one is asking the important question -- when will we have these at Wally Wade?
