    Unhappy Fantasy Football Team Names

Ok, I need some help. Recently joined a league full of Kentucky fans who have very pro uk team names and some anti Duke and other teams. Anyone have a good idea for an anti uk or pro Duke name. I'm thinking how to work in the fact that 7th and 8th graders (probably current Cal recruits) weren't alive the last time they won, but can't think of anything short and sweet. Help Please!

-Christian Laettner Fan Club (simple, obvious, but works every time)
    -2.1 seconds
    -Thomas Hill's tears of joy
    -To be vacated later
    -I miss Tubby
    -D(UK)E
    -2010 Mountaineers
-Ashley Judd? more like Ashley Dud (hah! this is so dumb it's making me laugh)

    Devilish Thoughts?

I like variations on "Blue Devils," esp. the second word, in that it is distinctive in college sports. Unlike, as I think of it, "Wildcats," which I believe is used as a nickname by Villanova, Kansas State, Davidson, Northwestern, and Arizona -- how tedious! Of course, the SEC has two teams that use "Bulldogs." The only other "Devils" that I can think of are the "Sun Devils" down in Tempe.

Anyway, forgive my musing aloud --

    "BeDeviled"

    "DeviledCats"

    "Devil of a Name"

    "Devil in the Bluegrass"

    "DevilTown Blues"

    "Blue is a Devil"

    Well, you get the idea.

The more I think about it, simplicity is best.

    Go with...

    Vacated

    Nothing else, simply Vacated.

They will get exactly what you mean.

I agree, the "2.1 seconds" is a good one. Maybe the front runner. Who can beat it??????

There's another Blue Devils team in Division I basketball, from Central Connecticut State.

I think the best answer is going to be about Duke AND Kentucky, rather than just pro-Duke or anti-Kentucky. Here are some alternatives to "2.1 Seconds":

    Unguarded Inbound Pass
    March 28, 1992
    Remember the Spectrum
    104-103 in OT
    Shoots... Scores!
    10 for 10

Thank you for all of the replies and suggestions. Its an ESPN League and the way they have you do team names is strange, and long. So I went with "Hill2Laettner ShootsScores" Already a league post "Is there a Duke fan in our league?"

    Success!

Now you just have to live up to the name.
