There were a couple more games Tuesday as Jon Scheyer and Maccabi Tel Aviv had an Adriatic League game In Serbia against Radnicki. Jon came off the bench to play the last 2 minutes of a 91-70 win with his only mark in the box score being a missed shot. David Bluthenthal and Devin Smith led the way for the visitors with 23 and 22 points respectively and Keith Langford added 17 points and 6 rebounds. DeMarcus Nelson and Cholet were seeking to change their fortunes after the holiday as they traveled to Poitiers. The team got off to a solid start and held on for a 76-69 win as DeMarcus continued his strong return to France with 21 points in 32 minutes. In the loss, ex-Houston player Kenny Younger had 16 points and 7 rebounds, ex-North Carolina A&T player J.J. Earlier in the day, Chante Black and Shandong looked to earn a surprise win on their trip to Liaoning. They managed to do so 86-62 to record their 3rd win of the season with Chante providing 8 points and 5 rebounds in 29 minutes.
On Wednesday, action continued in Ukraine with Daniel Ewing and Azovmash going on the road to face Halychyna. The game was close until the visitors pulled away in the second half to win 97-79. Daniel had 18 points and 10 assists in 29 minutes, while Ricky Minard had 17 points, Ratko Varda added 14 points and 7 rebounds, and Radoslav Rancik contributed 12 points and 9 rebounds. In the loss, ex-Kansas State player Lans Harris had 26 points and former Tennessee-Chattanooga player Keddric Mays had 11 points.
Earlier in the day, Shavlik Randolph and the Dongguan Leopards hosted the Shanxi Brave Dragons and won 110-91. Shavlik had 14 points and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes as Josh Akognon added 35 points and 6 rebounds. In the loss, the less famous Marcus Williams formerly at Arizona had 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists and ex-Southern Miss player Charles Gaines had 23 points and 10 rebounds.

In Spain, Marty Pocius and Kyle Singler finally got to take the floor at the same time in Real Madrid's visit to Badalona to face Joventut. Kyle got the start and had 4 points and 3 rebounds in 16 minutes after being plagued by foul trouble while Marty was finally healthy enough to come off the bench and score 10 points and grab 3 rebounds in 21 minutes. Real Madrid tried a late comeback but ended up falling short 78-75 as they hope to recover for their next game against an opponent from Catalonia with FC Barcelona due to visit next week. When Kyle Singler made the move to a team competing for the Euroleague, I am sure he was imagining a little bit of travel around different parts of the continent. After Wednesday's round of 16 draw, it looks like he and Marty Pocius will instead be looking at two trips to places in Spain they would have visited in their domestic league with a trip to Siena in Italy being the only foreign travel with trips to Malaga and Bilbao rounding our their group. Jon Scheyer will get to see at least one new country for the year with trips to Barcelona, Cantu (Italy), and Kaunas (Lithuania) lined up.
