His team managed the win over Marty Pocius and Real Madrid 88-82. Jordan Farmar broke out with 27 points and Americans David Bluthenthal and Devin Smith added 16 and 15 points respectively. Marty had 4 points in 14 minutes off the bench while American Jaycee Carroll led the team with 18 points, Rudy Fernandez had 13 points, and Serge Ibaka had 9 points and 8 rebounds.
In other action on the day, Spain's Unicaja pulled out a close win over German team Brose 79-78. Ex-Niagara player Tremmell Darden had 10 points in the win, Ex-Dayton player Brian Roberts and ex-San Diego State player Marcus Slaughter had 16 points apiece, and ex-Georgia Southern player Julius Jenkins had 14 points. Turkish team Anadolu Efes prevailed in a low-scoring affair in Milan over Emporio Armani 62-54. Ex-South Carolina player Tarence Kinsey had 13 points and 8 rebounds, Sasha Vujacic had 12 points, and Ersan Ilyasova had 8 points and 9 rebounds. Danilo Gallinari had 12 points and 8 rebounds in the loss. Acie Law had his first solid effort in leading Partizan to a win over Belgian team Spirou with 26 points and 7 assists in the 91-81 win. Nikola Pekovic added 21 points as ex-McNeese State player Demond Mallet had 19 points in the loss and ex-Michigan State player Chris Hill added 15 points and 9 rebounds. Italian team Bennet Cantu defeated Spain's Bilbao 78-69. Ex-Oregon Maarte Leunen had 14 points in the win while ex-West Virginia player D'Or Fischer had 10 points in the loss. Turkish team Fenerbahce beat French champions Nancy 90-86 behind 19 points from Thabo Sefolosha and 13 points from ex-Maryland player James Gist. Nicholas Batum had 22 points in the loss while ex-Providence player John Linehan set a Euroleague record with 15 assists. Barcelona traveled to Russia and smashed Unics Kazan 93-65. Ex-Cincinnati player Pete Mickeal had 16 points in the win while ex-BYU player Terrell Lyday had 14 points and ex-Southern Miss player Kelly McCarty had 10 points in the loss.
In more Euroleague Women action, as Turkish giants Galatasaray beat Hungarian outfit Gyor 102-84 behind its WNBA stars. Diana Taurasi had 24 points, Tina Charles had 17 points, and Epiphany Prince had 13 points. Spain's Ros Casares was shocked at home by Czech team USK Prague despite Lauren Jackson getting into the action. DeLisha Milton-Jones had 12 points in the win and Sancho Lyttle had 19 points in the loss. Slovakians Good Angels Kosice beat Italians Taranto 61-56 as Danielle McCray's 22 points beat out Kia Vaughn's 13. Polish team Lotos Gdynia beat French team Bourges 71-67 in a game light on star power.
There were a handful of other Eurocup games for the women as French team Arras defeated Belgian team Sint-Kantlijne-Waver 78-47 with WNBA player Leilani Mitchell scoring 7 points. Ex-DePaul player Lenae Williams had 14 points in a 70-39 win for French club Nantes over Portugal's Vagos. Swiss team Sdent Helios defeated French team Landes 76-74 after getting 19 points from Shyra Ely. Russian team Chevakata defeated Danish side SISU 72-34 and Dynamo Moscow defeated Belarussian outfit Horizont 81-69. Israeli team Elitzur Ramla ended striking for long enought to Russian side Spartak Noginsk 89-51. Ex-Maryland player Shay Doron led all scorers with 20 points while Taj McWilliams-Franklin had 11 points, ex-Miami of Ohio player Amanda Jackson had 10 points, and Tanisha Wright had 9 points.
