Austin Rivers - "Every time I play I represent Duke"

Rivers is so well spoken and articulate that it's hard to believe he's not even a college freshman yet. Im so excited to see the 2011 class on the court!

    Dad sets a good example

Austin must have learned some good lessons from his dad, Celtics Coach Doc Rivers. Even after a tough loss to a "heated" rival, Doc showed a lot of class (not necessarily exhibited by Celtic players) in congratulating the winners and offering them encouragement.

Seems to me Austin is about as ready for prime time as any freshman we've seen.

I get the impression that Austin is an incredibly driven young man, in the Kobe/Jordan sort of way, and for his age Austin has as good an understanding of what it will take to be of that caliber in both basketball and beyond of any kid we've had at Duke. Kid feels like a straight up professional in all the right ways, and comes across as that kind of cold-blooded competitor who wants to tear your heart out. Good stuff.

He's the first Blue Devil I've seen that can swagger sitting down.

Nolan Smith has swagger lying down at around 2:14 seconds in
