I didn't see this posted (but I haven't gone through *all* threads and posts) about the NBA D-League as a viable alternative to one year in college.

Three options... one year in college, Europe or Asia, or D-League.

I also read in Dan Patrick's "short" interview with David Stern about the "one-and-done" rule. Interestingly, David said that it is NOT a "one-and-done" rule, but an age-eligibility rule. I guess, then, that the NBA is not saying a player that didn't meet the age requirements *had* to go to college... just that he couldn't enter the NBA. Spin?
