If I'm not mistaken, I believe this was the first time a team won the NBA Finals after losing game 3 going down 2-1. I seem to remember this being a stat that was thrown around after game 3.
"Just be you. You is Enough."
It seems the jokes will never stop.
The Youtube video below contains some rather salty language... be warned.

Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?
The "n" was 11 in the sample size the announcers quoted when noting that winners of game three in the NBA Finals had each won the championship. I thought I heard them say that "all teams winning game three" had been champions, not just "the last eleven teams."
But I have been wrong before.
Anyway, that streak is over.

You are correct. Since the move to 2-3-2, 11 series had been tied 1-1. All 11 teams that won game 3 in those series went on to win the title. Dallas broke the mold. This was the 12th series to be tied 1-1, Dallas lost game 3 but won the series. Like u said, streak over.
