    Two More NCAA Champions!

Congrats to fencer Becca Ward and diver Nick McCrory, who today joined the very short list of Duke athletes who are TWO-TIME NCAA Champions.

Becca came from behind on the last day to win the women's saber competition at the NCAA fencing championships, which she also won in 2009.

Nick won his second consecutive title in men's 10-meter platform diving, racking up the highest score in NCAA championship history.

    Well done, y'all!

I suspect Becca did not use Bonetti's Defense, as the terrain was not likely to have been rocky.

Naturally, but her opponent attacked with Capo Ferro, so she canceled it with Thibault.

I wonder how many fencers in that competition have that scene memorized.

Excellent! National Champs are always nice... and the fencing team has contributed three of them at least.

Talking 10 Meter Platform Diving -- Wow!!

Let me get this straight. Nick dives off of a platform 33 feet above the water? And no one makes him? What courage! Congrats to both.
