After a difficult start this season (losses to Notre Dame and Penn during the last two weekends) the "work in progress" #15 Duke Men's Lacrosse team just achieved an impressive 9 - 8 OT victory over #3 Maryland. I saw most of the game at Duke, and the team's attitude, tenacity, determination were very impressive; our Devils never quit despite the Terps' early leads. Congratulation to the coaches and players, not only for this fine win over a highly-ranked ACC opponent, but additionally for their evident progress during the last month.

It was indeed a great game and a fantastic win for a young duke team trying to find itsself. I was able to watch it on espn3. Our senior leader tied the game with 3 seconds left in OT. CJ won the faceoff to begin OT like he did iun the NCAA championship game last year and duke scored the winning goal (a freshman) soon thereafter. Conrats team!
