Yup. Exposure has a lot to do with it. Fredette is a novelty act for people. He plays for the "little guy." So strutting and trash-talking is amusing. When you're a part of the "evil empire" and you strut and trash-talk, you inspire hatred from outsiders. Yes, there's a double-standard. But I think all of us are aware of that. Unfortunately, that's life.
