You are correct. A lot of high level meetings took place there. Another nice touch in the early days was that Thad (Eure, Jr.) and Charlie (Winston) were always on site and would stop by you table to visit and glad hand. It had a home-like atmosphere. The wait people were all long term employees. I haven't been there in a number of years but the old days were most enjoyable.
Hi,
As Kyrie returns to action against UNC...
TOE-HEALED, TOE-HEALED, TOE-HEALED...
GTHC
GO DUKE!
Exactly. Those were the alien smilies that I had available to work with. And I always liked Will Weaton/Wesley Crusher on STNG. I was always surprised and somewhat disappointed that they didn't spin him off on his own show. They didn't even bring him back in the movies.

Here's a Haiku for Kyrie's first play:
Bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce
Squeak, bounce, squeak, squeak, bump, swi-i-sh-sh, plop
Yay, yay, roar, roar, roar
It's all onomaTOEpoeia.

Obviously Kyrie is a pretty bright kid since he goes to Duke but someone needs to sit him down for a spelling lesson. Doesn't he know his boot should read oz-toe-ism?
Kyrie remains stronger than a train, and faster than a speeding bullet.
Contrary to rumor, though, he is not yet able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
Yet.

Will Kyrie come out toe play toenight? That is the question!
