That's the point. That's what a goon does - fouls.

The Nored foul was a good call (he hit Smith on the upper arm during the shot), but often goes uncalled. The Singler play was a charge and we caught a big break there. But you're right - those calls certainly changed the landscape of the game.

That said, Singler's third foul probably should have been a no call. Complaining about any one call in isolation ignores the fact that LOTS of calls are missed throughout the game both ways.

Yep. And KI's 2nd foul was a bogus charge that sent him to the bench for most of the end of the first half. That changes the game, too.

He's an inch shorter than Madsen and probably about as fast as Madsen was.
