ESPN Magazine + ESPN Insider for $1.99

Just found this deal for a one year subscription to ESPN the Magazine for $1.99. You also get access to ESPN Insider. I already have a subscription, but I added another year to it. I find the magazine basically worthless, but you do get ESPN Insider. Go to this website http://home.dailysteals.com/

Just got mine, thanks for the link! I agree that ESPN the Magazine is poor, it's a lot of fluff pieces and eye candy. SI is much more of an actual journal. But the Insider access is nice, and for $2 how can I complain?

Thanks for the link. I wasn't too sure about the site so I googled it and people seem to have a lot of headaches with them. It is only 2 bucks but I'd actually like to receive the magazine, anyone ever deal with this site before?

Edit - Found a thread on slickdeals.net about it here http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2435955 Should answer a lot of questions.

I'm not convinced and definitely not giving them my CC info. Seemed to be lots of people on the site you linked with concerns as well...

Not sure about the link, but I've gotten the magazine since it started. The insider access is definitely worth the price. I actually don't even read the magazine when it comes in because every magazine article is available to insiders online. But if anyone is considering it, the insider stuff is worth it.

If anyone knows how to get Insider without the magazine, let me know. They should pay me for having to recycle that trash.

I'm not 100% sure because its been a while, but I think there might be an option to receive the magazine as a digital download instead of a paper subscription. Check ESPN's website and see if you can find something out.

That would be great, will do.

I have few rules in life, but one of them is this: if a single issue of a sports magazine has 2 separate cologne sample inserts, unsubscribe.

Did anyone end up doing this? I did, but haven't received any magazines yet.

I was scrolling down, planning to add exactly that comment -- I would pay a little extra to get insider without the magazine. It just clutters up my mailbox.

But for every issue of the magazine sent, their advertising dollars go up. I don't think ESPN much cares what you do with it when you get it, so long as you do get it. Their advertisers might care, though.

monthly subscription to insider only, no magazine and no contract, is $6.95/mo. that was sort of the whole point of the daily steals deal, that it was two bucks for the year.

Did anyone ever get any magazines or their insider account? There is another item on Daily Steals I kind of want but I'm not sure if its a fraud.

You can sign up for the magazine as a digital download if you don't want the paper subscription. You may have to contact their customer service department to sign up for the digital download, though.
