Just got mine, thanks for the link! I agree that ESPN the Magazine is poor, it's a lot of fluff pieces and eye candy. SI is much more of an actual journal. But the Insider access is nice, and for $2 how can I complain?
Just found this deal for a one year subscription to ESPN the Magazine for $1.99. You also get access to ESPN Insider. I already have a subscription, but I added another year to it. I find the magazine basically worthless, but you do get ESPN Insider. Go to this website http://home.dailysteals.com/

Thanks for the link. I wasn't too sure about the site so I googled it and people seem to have a lot of headaches with them. It is only 2 bucks but I'd actually like to receive the magazine, anyone ever deal with this site before?
Edit - Found a thread on slickdeals.net about it here http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2435955 Should answer a lot of questions.

Not sure about the link, but I've gotten the magazine since it started. The insider access is definitely worth the price. I actually don't even read the magazine when it comes in because every magazine article is available to insiders online. But if anyone is considering it, the insider stuff is worth it.
If anyone knows how to get Insider without the magazine, let me know. They should pay me for having to recycle that trash.
Did anyone end up doing this? I did, but haven't received any magazines yet.

i emailed them and they said 8-12 weeks. I think this is week #8
Do you happen to know if it Is possible to get the insider log-on info before the magazines start coming?

But for every issue of the magazine sent, their advertising dollars go up. I don't think ESPN much cares what you do with it when you get it, so long as you do get it. Their advertisers might care, though.

monthly subscription to insider only, no magazine and no contract, is $6.95/mo. that was sort of the whole point of the daily steals deal, that it was two bucks for the year.
Did anyone ever get any magazines or their insider account? There is another item on Daily Steals I kind of want but I'm not sure if its a fraud.
