Olek Czyz is a 6-8 PF that plays for the Las Vegas Prospects AAU team. He iplays his HS ball in Reno, Nevada. His play of late in AAU events has him quickly rising up the recruiting charts. Duke is showing interest and yes, he is Polish.

Elliot Williams and Greg Monroe have recieved offers for 08.

6'8" 235 pounds with a 40" vertical. He definitely looks solid in the attached photo. This sounds like a guy who can bring some muscle and athleticism to the front line. "Athleticism" did I actually use that word? I'm happy to hear that we are looking to sign a 3rd option out of the Class of 2008.

I'd say a lot. The scouting report was likely done by Dave Telep, who is a pretty solid judge of talent. Keep in mind that the kid has come on a lot of late. IOW, his ratings will rise. I will be checking him out at the NBA Developmental Camp later this month.

He will wait. He likes UK, but the attention he has now will delay his choice. He played in the same HS league as Luke Babbitt who is headed to Nevada instead of Ohio State where he had made a soft verbal.

Is a soft verbal just a verbal that you recant? Interesting that Babbitt backs out of tOSU in favor of Nevada. Perhaps he was afraid of Mark Fox yelling at him if he didn't. Fox is one of the best gripers in the game.
