Obviously, I thought that the Duke/Butler game was fantastic. It was close, it was hard fought, and it was nail biting. However, I recently watched our last 3 games and, IMO, the most exciting game for me was the Baylor game. We were the underdog (according to most analysts), we weren't as athletic, we were basically at an away game - plus, Baylor basically led for a lot of the game until we pulled the Duke-patented last-four-minute run and dominated at the end. All of those 3s towards the end, Nolan on fire, Nolan dedicating the game to his dad, LT dunking on a put back (has that ever happened? Ever?) The game was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best Duke game I've ever seen (fan since 2003. Still a youngin).
From a pure basketball game (minus the whole David/Goliath comparisons and the fact that it was an NC game), the Butler game was really good, but the Baylor game was amazing. Am I the only one that thinks this?
Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things. - Winston Churchill
