The only objective way Syracuse should have been ranked ahead of us is losses. I don't see anything wrong with us jumping them. None.

I do NOT like Joe Lunardi's bracket that had us out West with Notre Dame, Tennessee and WVU.

Duke was the CLEAR choice as the third #1. Its not even close

Syracuse has to draw Ohio State or Kansas State. Assuming that West Virginia is more highly ranked than KState, Duke will draw them. Right?

Further, if West Virginia was ahead of Ohio State, Duke would have drawn them as the 4th number one any way.

I agree that we should be the 3rd #1. In fact, I would like to see a rule (will never happen) that if you don't win your conference tourney, you don't get a 1 seed (unless there are 2 1 seeds from your conference). I'm sick of seeing these teams fall like dominoes in conference tourneys and then these "analysts" come to their defense based on a "body of work," ignoring the heart and determination of teams that go for banners. Conference tourneys are NOT exhibition games.

I actually doubt it; WVU had to be #5 on the S-curve.

I think this is great news not only for Duke but the ACC Tournament as well. People on this board were questioning the importance of the ACC Tourney...and this clearly shows that it's still important. Great Job Committee and Seth Davis can suck it!
