If one didn't know better, one would say that GT was the team who tied for the regular season championship and Maryland was the bubble team. It's crazy how good GT has looked and how bad Maryland has looked.

Maryland coming out with much more energy in the second half. Ga Tech better hang on. They're the kind of team that's susceptible to letting Maryland's pressure making them rush and make mistakes.

Anybody else sick of Mike Patrick saying "Are you KIDDING?" every time something mildly interesting happens in any game? Particularly when said something involves Maryland doing something right?

Apparently GT doesn't like playing the opening few minutes of the halves against Maryland. They were down 6 early against Maryland before making the big run in the first half. They've come out tentative and out of control in the second half, and Maryland has cut the lead by 5.

Hewitt was able to right the ship in the first half. Let's see if he can do it again in the second half.

This GT team has a ton of talent. If they played with any cohesion and discipline, they'd be really tough.

GT just pooping the bed on their third inbounds play of the second half. This is ridiculous. This is apparently why GT lost 9 ACC games this year. Make that the FOURTH inbounds play that they've blown.

Well i figure there's a 15% chance Maryland manages to play so incompetently down the stretch that GT can't lose.

But well, the leads down to 4 now, so that isn't looking that likely.

After an amazing first half, GT has played the entire second half scared. Maryland has on the other hand been playing like sharks smelling blood in the water.

MD is making this comeback with Vazquez playing horrible, that is the suprising thing.

GT finally remembering that they were creaming this team just a half hour ago. Need to build a ten point lead and hopefully keep the terps at arms length. I don't trust Paul Hewitt in a close game.

It's just amazing how inept GT has been on inbounds plays in the second half. That's the only reason Maryland is in this game. GT has dominated nearly all of the other facets of the game completely, but they're doing SO badly on inbounds plays.
