Yeah i don't know much about him. He's ranked in the top 30 for both scout and rivals and I believe the staff saw him up close at their skills camp.
Didn't see this posted on here...sorry if it was...

Duke has offered small forward Micael Gbinije of Benedictine High School in Richmond, VA. The 6'6", 195 lb. forward is a junior in high school right now and graduates in 2011. He also has offers from Clemson, Alabama, Georgetown, Indiana, Maryland, Miami, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Villanova, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and West Virginia.
The kid is a player. Has a smooth stroke and decent athleticism. He would be a good addition to our options at the wing, being a big 3 guy or a small 4 guy. Reminds me of David McClure with a bit more natural ability. I have seen him play here in Richmond a few times. I hope we get him.
I think he was at Cameron for the Maryland game this past Saturday. He picked a good one to attend.
How do you pronounce his last name?
Good news; already posted...here, on a separate thread about Gbinije**Edit...since combined

Quincy Miller says he committed:
qmillertime: "Congrats to my boy Michael Gbinijie for committing to the Duke Blue Devils!"
Looking for confirmation...

FWIW, the Scout profile says he committed to Duke.
It's on Scout.com as well.
Congrats to the coaches for their first commitment for 2011 and of course, congrats to Gbinije for coming to Duke http://scouthoops.scout.com/a.z?s=75...pid=88&yr=2011
Welcome Gbinije, hope you have a great time at duke on and off the court.
It's looking pretty official. A very nice early signing...without suspense or drama.
I look forward to many bizarre mispronunciations of his name by Mike Patrick and friends.
