apparently the kid grew up a UNC fan...surprise...seems like everyone does.

Yeah i don't know much about him. He's ranked in the top 30 for both scout and rivals and I believe the staff saw him up close at their skills camp.

Duke has offered small forward Micael Gbinije of Benedictine High School in Richmond, VA. The 6'6", 195 lb. forward is a junior in high school right now and graduates in 2011. He also has offers from Clemson, Alabama, Georgetown, Indiana, Maryland, Miami, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Villanova, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and West Virginia.

The kid is a player. Has a smooth stroke and decent athleticism. He would be a good addition to our options at the wing, being a big 3 guy or a small 4 guy. Reminds me of David McClure with a bit more natural ability. I have seen him play here in Richmond a few times. I hope we get him.

I think he was at Cameron for the Maryland game this past Saturday. He picked a good one to attend.
