Charting Duke vs. Georgia Tech (II)

Well, talk about an easy storyline. Virtually all of Duke's scoring margin was built by one lineup combination -- the usual starters, with Mason Plumlee in place of his brother. And that will be one to track going forward -- if Mason can make the strides that I, other posters, Jay Bilas and probably even Coach K have hoped for and still expect to see, these likely will end up being Duke's five best players. That doesn't mean that they'll play the best as a group, but it will be interesting to track going forward.

Anyway, on to the numbers ...

    Individuals
    Jon Scheyer 86-65 (+21)
    Nolan Smith 86-65 (+21)

It was tough for miles tonight in foul trouble most of the time, and then getting kicked in the face didn't help

mason had a very good game...a couple of bad decisions under the hoop though cost him a few more points

Will our new motion offense strategy (ok, not really new, but you know what i mean) be the focus of our offense from here on out? this was the most ive seen kyle use screens for open 3s all year.
