A couple of the Post basketball writers, Eric Prisbell and Josh Barr, wrote a piece in this morning's paper about a new NCAA rule that prohibits the practice of players attending prep schools for a year (after high school) to correct academic issues. The rule also addresses the business of reclassifying a youngster so he takes a grade over again to improve academics or to become more physically mature (I believe that this is common in some of the football states like Texas.). One conclusion by the coach at a prep school is that the rule may bring back the junior colleges.
