Congratulations to the University of New Jersey at Durham .

More suspenseful downplaying when asked about HB:

(paraphrasing) "It's not about Duke. He's his own man."

    Anyway, good get.

And now I'm off to the Angels game. Man, I hate the Yankees... they're the Duke of the MLB.

    YES!

I guess this can end the rediculous speculation that has been going on. I can't even imagine how long the thread on Harrison Barnes will be. Welcome to Duke Kyrie Irving, keep up the New Jersey Point guard tradition!

And great answer about the Harrison Barnes question you were asked. Now, go talk to him in private

I don't know about that. I think rejoicing about (and with) Kyrie for a few more days is appropriate. It's not like Harrison has stated a timeline for his commitment. There are very few of us that have an opportunity to impact his visit this weekend. Let's have some fun around here everyone once in a while.

In other news, Kyrie is losing Twitter followers left and right. It almost makes me want to chant "Drive Home Safely!" *CLAP, CLAP... CLAP, CLAP, CLAP*

Comparing Duke to the most successful professional sports team in history- nice praise from tar heel.

BTW- Steinbrenner's daughter, Jenny Steinbrenner Swindal, graduated from UNC in 1981. So you have to wonder a little bit about the man's judgment on certain matters. UNC used to play the Yankees back in the day in an exhibition.

    Welcome to Duke, Kyrie.

Awesome day for the program. Most important commitment in a long while.

Hopefully we can keep it going with Barnes this weekend.

Watching the Irving family leaving the Duke bookstore with "gear for the year" shows that they are as excited about coming as we are about having them. Wear the colors well! Welcome to ALL the Irvings!
