That is what I heard as well though I thought I read some being able to activate it early...

Some have been able to activate it, as AT&T has started to roll it out to random customers over the past couple weeks. Others (like me) were able to get it on their phone, but the MMS ports are still blocked by AT&T until Friday, so while I can put a picture in my text message, that text message will not go through.

I started to go around the block, but then realized that it goes wide on Friday, so I decided not to bother...I mean, no one I know with an iPhone can accept my MMS message anyways.

i'll be out of my ATT deal for wireless next year...i did NOT get the new 3gs, but i feel comfortable enough now to jailbreak my iphone and throw off the ATT shackle..


word is that exclusive iphone and ATT are coming to an end...possibly before the year is even up..
