There appear to be some academic concerns.
News is Michael Chandler (a top 25 prospect) coming out of the 2011 class has recently decommitted from Lousville and has Duke on his list. He is a 6'10 230lb center. Saw a video of him on espn and he looks good. Anybody got any information on this???

Read in this article that Thomas has recently heard from Duke. Not much else. Any one has information as to how hard we are pursuing him?

seems to me this is all due to that so called new "wide net approach" the coaching staff is taking in regards to recruiting. I like it...because if I'm not mistaken we are after a bunch of big guys right now. But I'm happy do see the direction we're going...I almost seem to lose track of all the recruits theres soo many haha.
Marquis Teague is announcing in about an hour...

Here is what I think our class could look like if things keep going our way:
- Austin Rivers (6'4 pg/sg) - by most sources, a Duke Lean
- Quincy Miller (6'10 sf/pf) - Between Duke and Kentucky
- Michael Gbinije (6'6 sg/sf) - Commited to Duke
- Tyler Adams (6'9 pf/c) - Comfirmed Duke Lean
I think out of these players, Quincy Miller is probably the biggest wildcard knowing Calipari and his recruiting talents.
This recruiting class would give us oh so many lineup choices
1) Kyrie Irving/Tyler Thornton
2) Austin Rivers/Andre Dawkins
3) Seth Curry/Mike Gbinije/Carrick Felix
4) Quincy Miller/Josh Hairston/Ryan Kelly
5) Mason Plumlee/Miles Plumlee/Tyler Adams
Bold signifying players that get regular minutes (so 8 or 9 deep)
***Of course this is just my opinion of how this rotation would shape up...and also it might be a stretch to have Miller starting over Hairston and (senior) Miles...but this is just my opinion...With the a lineup like that, we would be so deep that anything could be possible***
Michael Gbinije - Check
Tyler Adams - Check
Good vibes coming from the Rivers and QM camp although as we've all seen previously - *cough Prince Harry cough* - good vibes don't necesarily materialize.
Two Questions:
1. Is there anyone else we are really interested in?
2. Can you imagine if we sign all four?...yikes...
Here's as update on 2011 recruiting following the Tyler Adams commitment. Please let me know of errors or omissions. I have also added 2010 additions.

I will take TA over mp3..I am happy we are getting a scraper inside..
Tyler fits in better with how our offense projects to be run in 2011-12. Faster, uptempo, etc. Marshall projects to be more like Zoubek than his brothers. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I just don't think he's as good of a fit for what we're looking to do...
