It'll be happening here soon enough. According to an epidemiologist friend. Prediction: it'll take about three weeks, now that fall semester has started just about everywhere.

So, I just got word tonight, our school has closed for the next week thanks to several occurrences of the H1N1 virus in students on campus. So my alarm gets shut off for a week... now I just need to figure out... what should I do for the next week(technically, we will still be "teaching" the kids via online resources, but that will be relatively easy to take care of). Oh btw, I'm in Korea, so none of you need wonder "Hmmm, is this happening near me? Will I be getting a call? etc."

Hey Des, you coming home for the holidays this year? Will you be at the Gonzaga game at MSG on Dec. 19th?

I should be back Ozzie, I just haven't finalized my plans yet. Presuming I am in within the confines of the USA by the 19th, I'll be at the game(swine flu just better not do something nasty like cut short any vacations ).

H1N1's adverse impact on productivity and the nation's/world's economy -- right in the middle of a serious global recession -- significantly troubles me . . . so enjoy the unanticipated vacation.
