Story on the front page about national champions...

I believe they missed a pair of national championships, albeit in an individual sport...

Jeremy Khan, Duke '97, won an NCAA title in fencing, and Becca Ward just won one as well.

Maybe the tennis piece just meant team sports? If so, I think it could use the addition of that note, because right now it just says "Duke" and they are both representatives of Duke

It had to have been team sports.

Duke also sports individual champions in women's tennis (Vanessa Webb), the long jump (Joel Shankle), the 1,000 meters (Bob Wheeler), women's golf (Candy Hanneman, Virada Nirapathpongporn and Anna Grzebian) and others, I'm sure.

I'm not sure that the NCAA recognizes individual champions in track and field. There is a display of individual champions near Schwartz-Butters and (as of last semester) and they didn't display any track and field athletes.

That being said there are a number of boxing champions from years ago.

Shankle and Wheeler are both in a display in Schwartz-Butters unless they were recently moved.

On display in the case with the other individual champions? I used to wait for the elevators right next to the individual champion displays and I don't recall seeing any track and field athletes. I have to swing by that area later today so I'll check.
