A lot of stories include that statement. Jeff Foxworthy makes a living off of guys like this.
Drinking...helmets...snow, good ingredients for an evening of hi-jinks!

In his defense - he lives about 3 miles from me - there isn't much snow on the ground up here right now, large patches of grass are visible and farther south toward Deeetroit the snow is gone.
He needed the extra boost to get the sled down the hill.
Didn't Darwin have a theory about people like that?
Of course, my sons and I continuously up the ante on pyrotechnics to light our bonfires. I am talking about Captain Morgan, see them from space, 40 ft flames and higher (no exaggeration) bonfires. We have used all sorts of fuses, flaming arrows, Molotov cocktails, remote control cars, roman candles. So maybe I shouldn't be making Darwin jokes.
My favorite part of the story was that the guy wore a motorcycle helmet. Reminded me of Kamikaze pilots that wore helmets. I guess he figured he would be moving pert darn fast once that booster rocket kicked in.
