by 10 with 2 minutes left. while not momentous, a nice indicator that our conference left overs are having at it and the ACC is besting the Big Least. perhaps an indicator of things to come in the Big Dance!

Game was at Providence; Miami was 7-9 in ACC; Providence was 10-8 in Big East.

As you say, not momentous, but positive for the ACC comparison to the Big East.

I'm going to keep a running tally of this the whole tournament. If ACC teams go Head to Head with the Big East. Also I'm going to keep track of who gets the most teams through each round. Maybe I won't have to though I'm sure ESPN will do it for me. The ESPN gurus all think the Big East is better so we will see. Unfortunatly for the ACC to win this Duke and North Carolina will have to do well. No matter how bad anybody's toe hurts.
