    Reade Seligmann update

Apologies if this belongs on the OT board...

Seligmann, Jordan Burke Spark #18 Brown by #13 UMass

    From the article:

"Brown (4-1) received a career day from senior Reade Seligmann, who posted his first-career hat trick...Seligmann's second goal which he shot between his legs [emphasis mine] with six seconds left in the third quarter was the decisive goal..."

It's good to see Reade Seligmann having some success with his lax career.

    Succisa Virescit!!!

Not just with his career, but with his life. Am proud of him for winning the Boston Market Humanitarian Award.

Why is he a senior and Colin is a junior? I thought they were in the same class.

I agree. The overall trajectory of his life is very positive. I predict big things from him in the future.

Not sure about the Senior/Junior thing. It may be that Reade has the credits to graduate this year and intends to not use his additional year of eligibility, while Collin is not on track to graduate.

I'm sure after putting his life on hold for a year (or was it two, my memory is fading already), Reade just wants to move on and accomplish his goals.

First, great congratulations to Reade; he will always be a Dukie.

Now, to Tilly's question regarding Reade being a senior, while Colin is a junior, I believe Reade took several classes during the 2006 - 2007 academic year (after Duke but before Brown), which permitted him to enter Brown as a junior, whereas Colin did not do so.
