Why did you get the impression that Obama was rooting for UNC? I certainly didn't get that. He predicted UNC to win it last year, but that doesn't mean he wanted UNC to win it. Just that he thought they were the best team, which is certainly understandable.

Edit: Just found article. He definitely didn't take sides.

If he says he thought that X might win, probably means he was rooting for that team with all his might. After all many of the folks he knew as "acquaintances" during the campaign were long-term friends and policital allies,,,but were detractors on the campaing trail. All that simply to say, he ain't gonna tell you either way. Hopefully his support or not of Duke basketball won't impact yours in any case.

Yeah Reggie!

I was talking about his practice session(legal?) at unc last year. It's a short ride to Durham but he did not come to Reggie's alma mater. Unless it was in seclusion with secret service agents around. Or maybe he listens to Bonami Jones radio show(see thread). Go Duke!
