de plane, de plane! I liked "Fantasy Island"
I'll never look at rich Corinthian leather without thinking of him.
Rest in peace, Mr. Roarke.
Yes, at age 88, Ricardo Montalban has passed. I know I'm sad. He rocked in the Star Trek II.

He was always one of my favorite actors. I dug how Spy Kids let him still be in a wheelchair and act. Of course they jazzed it up a bit. First time I remember watching him of course was Fantasy Island, but his role in Conquest of the Planet of the Apes stood out too when I was a kid. I don't know why, but with his accent he just seemed one of those actors you would see again. Plus the movie had talking apes, nobody forgets talking apes. Especially not a kid.
Q "Why do you like Duke, you didn't even go there." A "Because my art school didn't have a basketball team."
Oh, this is sad...
Godspeed Mr. Montalban...
"Quien es mas macho, Fernando Lamas o Ricardo Montalban?"
And please don’t forget his role in The Naked Gun. Can’t remember the character’s name, but he led the effort to “kill the queen.”
Khan!
Close, Oz, close. David Marcus was killed by Commander Kruge (played by Christopher Lloyd) in Star Trek III, not in Star Trek II. Although Khan certainly threatened him in Star Trek II.
ETA: Let me clarify. Kruge ordered David killed. It was actually one of his goons who did it.
I've decided to pop Star Trek II into the DVD player in memory of Senor Montalban. May he RIP.
You are the one who can make us all glad
But doing that, you break down in tears
Please don't be sad, if it was a straight life you had
We wouldn't have known you all these years
