The Duke Bachelor

I thought those of you who are alums may want to know that this season's episode of "The Bachelor" features a Duke grad. He's a doctor and a Navy officer.

The only reason I tuned in to the show on Monday was because he happens to be the the son of a former PA state representative who I had worked for on occasion in my job at the state House.

As my wife is unfortunately a dedicated Bachelor fan, I believe I recall her telling me that one of the previous Bachelors (an emergency room physician in Nashville) was a Duke graduate as well. Not sure how this reflects on the university.
