    Congrats to the Duke women's volleyball team. They just won their first round match in the NCAA tourny against #25 San Francisco 3-2. The UCLA site has free on line video.

    Oh, well. UCLA wins, 25-16, 25-19, 25-17.

    The stars, especially Duke's .079 hitting percentage, will suggest that Duke played poorly. They didn't. They actually played pretty well. They were simply overmatched. No ACC team van shut down Rachael Moss by assigning a 6'5" blocker to follow her. Balls that go down in the ACC not only came up, they came up right to the setter. UCLA is just on another level.

    Congrats to the team and coaching staff on another fine season. Three straight trips to the second round of the NCAA is not bad at all.
