Cut on Tennessee

David Cutcliffe began his weekly press conference today by stating that he had no interest in the Tennessee job and was at Duke for the long haul.

He also stated that he had been calling Duke recruits and assuring them of his committment to Duke.

Hopefully, this would put the speculation to rest.

Good for Cut...i'm glad cut said that...it will get all speculation about him taking the Tennessee job off and he can focus on the important thing...coaching duke football which is is obviously quite passionate about.

Lets go Duke Football...i have faith that we can win a couple more games this season!

I just had one of my patients, who's a Duke fan, ask me about losing Cutcliffe to Tennessee. That's the second one today. No one's said word one about the presidential election today, but I've had 2 patients ask about Cut and a drug rep (Carolina grad) give me crap about the 'Holes being unanimous pre-season number 1. That's a snapshot of priorities and life in North Carolina. I love living here!

Its awesome that he came right out and said it. I'm sure rumors will persist but for the most part he's addressed them definitively and put the issue to rest.
