    I don't hate Vegas (EJ, congrats once again for constructing a poll that doesn't provide flexible enough answers), but I find it pretty boring most of the time. Maybe I just hate places that feel needy, and that town is trying way too hard to enrapture me.

    Now, visiting for the first weekend of March Madness is _fun_; I recommend that every college hoops fan try it at least once. And I always manage to eat well and way too much. But, no, I could never live there.

    I have a conference in SLC starting the Monday after Super Bowl, and my family has thrown a SB party for many, many years (this will be 27 in a row, I think), so I'm hitting LV for the party then on to the conference.
