Dancing with the Stars ... vs. Football

While looking over the results of the first week of eliminations, I noticed buried down in this story that contestants are getting LOADS of injuries on this show. Steve-O came down with a back injury. Okay, that I understand, but check out a few paragraphs down what happened to Jewel.

Is "Dancing with the Stars" that dangerous?

Only seen the show once or twice, but gymnasts/figure skaters/cheerleaders should NOT be allowed on the show. There's a Cowboys cheerleader on the show this year I've heard. That's a DANCE troupe essentially for heaven's sake! A slight advantage, you think? Didn't Kristi Yamaguchi win before? Figure skaters essentially dance on ice. And Shawn Johnson? Hello, the floor routine is mostly a dance! I guarantee you that they have had professional dance instruction quite frequently in the past. Even professional athletes of other sports (boxing, football, etc.) should have an advantage since they're in great shape and can handle the training, but athletes in sports with huge dance components should not be allowed to participate in the show. How can Steve Wozniak possibly compete with them? Certainly, not fair...
