POTD!!! POTD!!! POTD!!! I'm not really sure how anyone could top this.

On second thought, you didn't think Clint was kind of vulnerable in Play Misty? Doesn't that make him attractive in some sorta way?

Oh, and Eastwood was in good films. All the really good Westerns were revisionist Westerns. Wayne's only really good film was his last, The Shootist. If you have any real appreciation of the art of film, Wayne isn't even close to Eastwood.
I agree with the first paragraph but not the second. It took me a long time to appreciate Wayne's films, because his politics were revolting to me. To say that The Shootist is his only really good film means that the following, among others, weren't really good:

    Stagecoach
    She Wore a Yellow Ribbon
    Red River
    The Quiet Man
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

By the way, I do agree that The Shootist is also "really good."

I never said he's not attractive.

But scary as an expletive to contemplate actually sleeping with the guy.

    Agreed!

Wayne's portrayal of Genghis Khan is proof of the intestinal fortitude of the man. Well, that and his bouts with cancer.

I voted Eastwood, if only because he has beaten Death off longer.
P.S. Patrick Davidson left Chuck Norris in the infirmary once.
