I'm pretty sure they're all contractually forbidden from broadcasting play-by-play on the internets, as it's a valuable, licensed thing (this is what you'll find on the homepage of WDNC, the flagship station). Nevertheless, if anyone finds a free internet source for the broadcast, pass it along! I'd certainly like to hear it.

That is the problem I have found with basketball. The contractual limitations don't allow internet broadcast of the games. I am not sure about football arrangements.

Channel Surfing is sort of a sketchy site where you can watch local cable streams. As late as last season, you could watch almost any NBA game, but apparently the NBA got wise and cut them off. One was also able to watch college basketball games from all over the country, but not sure if that was axed as well.

Definitely worth giving a shot tonight.
