Tragedy in Moore, Oklahoma

Unless you are living under a rock I'm sure everyone is abreast of the situation in Moore, OK. I really don't have anything to add to what was written on the front page but I would again remind everyone that the relief efforts that are taking place take serious amounts of money to fund. Please consider giving to the http://www.redcross.org/ or other organizations such as http://www.samaritanspurse.org/.

I was able to go on a trip to New Jersey with Samaritan's Purse after Sandy came through and I can tell you that the people affected by these types of events are desperate for groups like this to come and provide immediate food and shelter. Please consider giving a few bucks if you can.

A true disaster.

When the first aerial video started coming out, there was one shot of a building that had been destroyed. As soon as I saw it I recognized that the thing hanging on the wall was a blackboard, with a pull down map or screen hanging from it, and I knew it was a school. Ugh. Just terrible. SO happy, though, that the loss of life seems not as bad as it could have been.

What a mess.
