    Olympic Uniforms Question

    Just noticed that the word "Japan" on the suit of the Japanese swimmer to just win gold in swimming is in English. Why is that?

    Is that the case with all other uniforms of non-English speaking countries?

    Just an observation.

    Did you catch the US/China game this morning? The Chinese players' names were in English on their jerseys.

    I think English and French are the "official" languages of the Olympics.
