I got 19, guessed at a couple. Since I'm not 40 yet, I guess that means I paid attention to my parents. My question...did the RC bottle come with holes? How did it not go flat?

I also got 18 correct - must be the prevailing score. I didn't know the Howdy Doody princess or the car coming and going question.

I'm not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing but I knew all the rest of them. I either remembered them or remembered my mother talking about them.

    Fun test!
    Windsor (aka Loni)

a wasted youth is better by far than a wise and productive old age

I got 19 correct - missed 12. My score was come by honestly, I was there.

All 20. But I am older than dirt. Now, where are my glasses? I put them down to read the computer screen...

    Damn...stepped on them!

I only got 16 correct but, in my defense, this was a very American quiz (more cultural than precisely historical) so I should get a bit of a mulligan.

You add the holes later. I've watched mother sprinkle many times with those bottles. THAT is a good memory and one I had forgotten until this quiz.

Got 19 right. (Missed the name of Carolyn's pony). And, I admit to being older than dirt. Woe is me.

Originally, but she was later played by a couple of live actresses - an early crush for me.

Too bad I didn't know about the purple ink thing back in the day, who cared(s) about ponies or their names if you lived in Brooklyn, 18 out of 20 with regrets for missed opportunities, I remain, grey older-than-I-care-to-remember-but-this-was-oh-so-fun beard

Here's hoping no one picked 11b. That would be embarrassing.
