    Sentinel: 5 Years After Realignment: Are Schools Better Off?

    A quibble: it's not really five years after realignment. It's five after all the legal hoo-hah went down, yes, but 2003-04 was played with a 9-team ACC. So only four seasons have passed on the court/field.

    Furthermore, 2004-05 was played with an 11-team ACC. Really, only three seasons have been played in the Swoffordian realignment in the ACC becuase it took another season to get Boston College integrated.

    i was never a fan

    Expansion always bugged me.

    IF the ACC HAD to expand I would have preffered that it be focused on our strength and kept BBall strong and even more dominant. Add Kentucky, Louisville and Uconn... teams like this...

    Teams that would make ANY worthwhile East coast basketball come thru the ACC.

    But nobody asked me..
