I am getting a UNC-CH MBA banner ad on this site. Puke. Is this someones sick joke?
I don't like seeing these ads.
The ads pick up on at least two things: content on the page/site and what you've searched for. Given that there has been (and will continue to be) a lot of discussion about UNC on this board, it doesn't surprise me to see UNC-related ads.
If you click on the ads, they will send DBR money. Click away!
One can take consolation in the fact that our rival seems to be spending a lot of effort advertising through banner ads while our fine school appears to advertise differently. If Duke did do banner ads, don't you think they would be on this quite frequently?
Everyone should also see ads that are a result of your search habits -- right now I'm seeing a lot of advertisements for appliances thanks to research on a newly acquired freezer. Now I don't need those ads. I'll have to search for something else to make them more interesting.
And clicking the ads means that UNC pays for it, correct? :)Quote:
