That jerk has a very well documented history (IIRC, he's been convicted at least three times) of abusing women. History tends to repeat and he probably was involved this time around. If so, it would be nice if Texas justice were served.
He also was a member of the U.S. men's basketball team that won the gold medal at the 1984 Olympics -- the team with Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Chris Mullin, Wayman Tisdale, Sam Perkins and Steve Alford, among others, that was coached by Bob Knight.Quote:

P.S. After re-reading this in context, I realized it could seem like I'm trying to threadjack, so I apologize for that. It certainly wasn't my intention to do that -- folks who know me understand that I have a tendency to digress from time to time, but I didn't mean to divert attention from the main story about Alvin Robertson, which is obviously quite disturbing.
